Wedding Photography Bury Lodge: At the beginning of July I photographed this wedding for Sam & Chris which took place at Bury Lodge (www.burylodge.com) near Bishops Stortford, where I am a recommended supplier.
The photo’s are amazing thank you :o) Thanks for making our day a little bit more special it was so lovely to have you involved in our day! We also love the photobooth pic you and the videographer’s did :o) – Sam & Chris (Bride & Groom)
I arrived at the brides home on the morning of the wedding to capture the pre-wedding moments and met up with David from Rideout Wedding Films (rideoutfilms.com) who I have worked well with before.
I then took the short journey to Bury Lodge who have recently had their gardens landscaped and caught up with the guys.
I captured the bride’s arrival and the wedding ceremony. She arrived in a fabulous Rolls Royce (www.brisancarriages.co.uk).
After the ceremony we went outside for some romantic photographs as it looked like it might rain. We were keen to get these done quickly as the inside of the barn can be used for the group photographs.
After the brief rain shower it brightened up so we went outside for the family group photographs.
We noticed a wild area around the back of the barn which made a great location for a few more romantic shots.
After the wedding breakfast I covered the speeches.
The couple had a photobooth (www.pictureblast.co.uk) and everyone seemed to enjoy dressing up in the wigs and props.
Myself and the video guys from Rideout were also invited to parttake by the bride and groom, and this photo shows why we are behind the cameras and not in front of them :-)
It was then time for the cutting of the wedding cake and the first dance, the DJ was Tony B from Back II Back (backiibackmusic@hotmail.co.uk).
I had a great time photographing Sam and Chris’ special day and it was good fun working along side the Rideout boys.
