Hunton Park Wedding Photography July 2014: Yesterday I photographed this wedding for Maxine and Jon at Hunton Park (www.deverevenues.co.uk/en/venues/hunton-park/weddings/) near Watford in Hertfordshire.
This wedding utilised my two photographer service and I had my friend and fellow photographer Dave assisting me. I arrived at Hunton Park a couple of hours before the ceremony and the weather report was pretty gloomy with thunder storms and rain forecast for the afternoon.
The ceremony took place inside the reception marquee instead of outside due to the unsettled weather. The couple had Garry Smith as their Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies (www.theenglishtoastmaster.co.uk), who was fantastic and really helped to organise people for the group photographs.
As everyone exited the ceremony the sunshine made an appearance.
We headed into the gardens for the romantic portrait shoot. Hunton Park boasts some beautiful grounds which are the perfect setting for a wedding.
We then had the group photographs and it turned out to be a very warm and sunny day!
We noticed the lovely lavender garden and had a couple more shots before the meal which was followed by the speeches.
Steve Hearn (www.drawn4u.com) was amusing the guests with his famous caricatures.
It was then time for the first dance and I’m pleased to say the predicted bad weather stayed away all day.

These photos are gorgeous. I think the best wedding photos I have ever seen. Such a joy to see.

These are all beautiful. I particularly like the ones taken outside with the lavender and the natural un-posed black and white shots. A wonderful reminder of your special day.
