Pre-Wedding Shoot Hatfield Forest Essex: On Sunday I met up with Katie and Matt whose wedding I am shooting in just over a months time. We met for a pre-wedding shoot at Hatfield Forest in Essex. It was a bit of a Wintry day and quite muddy and damp underfoot. It was definitely a day for wellies. It was a good opportunity to help them understand how relaxed the photography can be on the day, and for me to help them feel at ease in front of the camera. The dark cloud cover allowed for very soft natural light by the lake. The sheltered shots in the forest work well on a bright sunny day as well as in today’s light. I try to get real smiles and emotions in my photographs. This shoot only took a few minutes in a couple of closeby locations at Hatfield Forest.
