Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photography: On 21st December (the shortest day of the year) I photographed this wedding for Mark and Sarah at the lovely Pembroke Lodge (www.pembroke-lodge.co.uk) in Richmond Park, Surrey.
I arrived at the brides home on the morning of the wedding, the weather forecast was for cloud, but no rain!
I then moved on to Pembroke Lodge for some photos with the guys.
It wasn’t long before the bride arrived. We took the opportunity to take some bridesmaid photos outside while it was dry.
After the ceremony we headed out for the big group photo. As it was quite a cold day, all the other group photographs were then taken inside.
I then took the couple around the venue for a few wedding portraits.
While we were doing some family group photographs in the Russell Suite I noticed it was almost time for a sunset photograph.
The wedding breakfast took place in the Belvedere Suite, and it looked amazing!
It was great to see Claire and Rob at the wedding, who I previously photographed their special day in 2013.
After the meal and speeches we took some night-lit shots which are great addition to a winter wedding.
It was time for the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance.
There was a live band for the evenings entertainment.
DJ Treacle was also keeping everyone dancing in between the bands sets.
