Manor Of Groves Wedding Photography: Last Friday I photographed Fiona and Lance’s wedding at the Manor Of Groves Hotel (https://www.manorofgroves.com/) in High Wych, near Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.
I arrived at the Manor Of Groves Hotel with the weather being billed as the “hottest day of the year so far”, and it was a beautiful day, which meant the couple could have the outdoor ceremony they dreamed of. My task was to capture the emotion and feeling of the day and tell the story through my pictures.
The flowers were by Violets Floral Designs, Sawbridgeworth (facebook.com/Violetsflowerdesigns/)
The chair and outdoor decorations were by Nita at “Cover it Lovely “.
The bride made her entrance by coming down the outside staircase with her father waiting at the bottom.
I took lots of candid photographs before doing some requested family group shots.
As it was very hot, and very bright we decided to leave the couples’ wedding portraits until after the speeches and the meal.
The evening light was beautiful and the temperature had dropped a little making the couple wedding portraits much nicer to endure.
The evening guests started to arrive, then it was on to the cutting of the cake and the first dance.
I had a lovely day with Fiona and Lance, and it was really great to return to the Manor Of Groves to photograph their wedding. It is the closest wedding venue to my home, and really a beautiful location with friendly staff running the events.
