On Saturday I photographed Della and Tim’s wedding at the lovely Great Hallingbury Manor (https://www.greathallingburymanor.co.uk/) near Bishops Stortford, where I am the recommended wedding photographer.
I arrived at Great Hallingbury Manor around lunchtime as it was a 3.30pm ceremony. The weather was forecast as sunny and temperatures of around 25 degrees. My aim with this blog is to tell the story of the wedding day through a small selection of the wedding coverage, and includes natural, candid photographs as well as some posed up shots. I try to capture all the details and symbolic touches along the way as well.
Toastmaster Andrew Morgan (https://www.andrewdmorgan.com/toastmaster) who I’ve worked with many times, was helping organise the day and making sure it ran to time. He was very helpful during the group photographs.
The pole camera came in handy for the big group shot as the upstairs rooms were all booked out by non-wedding guests.
After lots of candids and the group shots, I took the couple for their wedding portraits using the grounds of Great Hallingbury Manor.
The evenings entertainment was provided by Lloyd the DJ who I’ve worked with many times.
I had a fab time with Della and Tim, and wish them a happy future together. It was lovely to photograph at Great Hallingbury Manor with Lisa and the team. This is my last wedding at the venue, as sadly Great Hallingbury Manor are no longer hosting weddings after 2019. I have been lucky enough to photograph there many times since 2007 and will definitely miss this venue.
