Great Hallingbury Manor Wedding Photography. Yesterday (April 2014) I photographed this wedding for Dawn and Jack which took place at Great Hallingbury Manor in Essex (www.legacy-hotels.co.uk/group_pages/weddings/index.php).
Thank you so much for immortalising our big day. You helped keep us at ease and calm on our day whilst taking some of the best pictures we have seen. Dawn and Paul (Bride and Groom)
The weather forecast wasn’t looking great so I was expecting a showery wedding. I arrived at Great Hallingbury Manor and met up with the girls getting ready.
It was dry, so far so good.
The hair and make up was being done by Dawn Taylor (www.facebook.com/dawntaylorweddings)
It was then time for the wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony we had some group photographs out on the patio.
I then assisted them with their first “selfie” as a married couple.
I then took the couple for their romantic portrait shoot utilising the lovely locations at the venue. This normally takes 20-30 minutes, although as time was short we did it in record time!
After the meal and speeches there was still some daylight for a couple more photos outside.
The couple then had their first dance and as it was starting to get dark we did a couple of night lit shots too.
I had a really fun day with Dawn and Jack, the weather stayed dry and we got all the photographs we wanted to get.

These photos certainly show how happy the bride and groom are to be married, everyone really enjoyed the day and the evening it was all well managed, and the disco also was very good lots of people up dancing a thoroughly brilliant day.
Beautiful, natural and relaxed photographs of our son Jack’s marriage to Dawn yesterday at Great Hallingbury Manor. We can’t wait to see the album :-)
I just want to say a big thanks to Dean for immortalising the day with these fantastic pictures! We couldn’t ask for anything better, we are also really looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures, especially all the “Selfies”. Dean helped keep the mood relaxed whist also being extremely enthusiastic about all of the pictures that were taken. Thank you so much! Love Mr & Mrs Jack & Dawn Skippins.
Dean, just brilliant, well done.
All those night shots made by the man with the light sabre!
Cheers
