Down Hall Pre-Wedding Shoot: Last week I met up with Nathaly and Joe for their pre-wedding visit to Down Hall (www.downhall.co.uk) where they are having their wedding in a few weeks time. It was a sunny evening so we did a few dramatic backlit shots with the fountain behind. A pre-wedding shoot or engagement shoot is useful as it gives the couple the opportunity to get used to the camera a little before their wedding day. Although I do take a some formal shots on the day itself, I tend not to spend too much time over-posing the couple into unnatural positions. I prefer people to hold each other as they would naturally so they feel comfortable in front of the camera and then this is reflected in their expressions.
