It was a warm and slightly overcast day, but we were hopeful the rain would stay away. The bridal party were getting ready in The Farmhouse.
Sam from Beautiful You (https://www.beautiful-you.biz/) was doing the make up, and is always a happy face to have at a wedding!
It was time to put on the wedding dress.
The ceremony was taking place outside in the Farmhouse Gardens. It is a lovely setting for an outdoor ceremony!
After the ceremony there were drinks served in the garden. I took lots of candid shots as well as some formal group photographs.
Lee Smith Magician (https://www.walkaboutmagic.com/weddings/) was entertaining all the guests!
I then took the couple for their wedding portraits.
It was time for the wedding breakfast which was taking place in the Stable Barn.
After the meal we went for a couple more portraits using the wild area.
The couple then cut their wedding cake and had their first dance.
As their wasn’t a sunset I took a moody sky photograph instead. I really had fun with Kayleigh and Andrew, and they had an amazing wedding day!

I arrived at Fanhams Hall on a beautiful Autumn morning, the sun was shining, although it was a little bit chilly. The bride and bridesmaids were all getting ready in the Royston Room.
The boys were also getting ready in the hotel, so I popped along to see how they were getting on.
The ladies were almost ready.
The ceremony was taking place in the Long Gallery, which is above the Great Hall. I was working alongside Robert Campbell a videographer from Campbell Creative Solutions (https://www.ccsvideo.co.uk/).
After the ceremony we ventured outside for a few group photographs.
After some time warming up at the drinks reception, we headed back outside for the wedding portraits and utilised the gorgeous gardens that Fanhams Hall has to offer.
There was time for some confetti before we all headed inside for the wedding breakfast in the Great Hall.
After some speeches the couple cut their cake and had their first dance together.
After the first dance there was some Israeli dancing, and the atmosphere was amazing!
I had great fun with Emily and Daniel. It was good to work with Robert the video chap, as well as Jade and the team at Fanhams Hall.

Wedding Photography at Three Lakes

I arrived at the Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club near Hertford (https://www.marriott.co.uk/hotels/event-planning/wedding-planning/stngs-hanbury-manor-marriott-hotel-and-country-club/) where the bride and bridal party were getting ready.
We then took the short journey to the Hertford Registry Office in Hertford (https://www.hertsdirect.org/your-community/register/marriages/) where the ceremony was taking place.
After the ceremony we walked to the council offices for a few photographs under the arches.
We then headed to Three Lakes at Westmill Farm where the wedding reception was taking place.
The venue looks out over the three lakes and it is a beautiful location for a wedding. I took some family photographs and lots of candids.
We all headed in for the wedding breakfast followed by the speeches.
After the meal I took the couple for their wedding portraits, utilising some of the lovely scenery at Three Lakes.
The couple then went in to cut their wedding cake and have their first dance.
I had great fun shooting Helen and Dave’s special day, and enjoyed my first wedding at Three Lakes.
