I photographed this wedding for Alice and Matt last September which took place at Walkern Hall (www.walkernhall.co.uk) in Hertfordshire.

Thanks for everything, we are really pleased with the photos you did a great job.
Alice and Matt (Bride and Groom)
I arrived at the brides home on the morning of the wedding to capture the bridal preparations.

The ceremony was taking place in the village of Aston at the local church where I met up with the boys. The weather was looking promising.

After the ceremony we all took the short journey to Walkern Hall where I have photographed before. It is a lovely wedding venue in an idilic location with some great locations for wedding photographs.

After some group photographs and candid shots I then took the couple around the grounds for the romantic selection.

It was then time for the wedding meal, followed by the speeches and cutting of the cake. That signalled the start of the evening party.

We popped outside for a few nightlit shots.

Wedding Photography at Walkern Hall, Hertfordshire
July 4, 2011 on 1:16 pm | In - Wedding Photography Herts, - Weddings, Walkern Hall Wedding Photography | Comments Off on Wedding Photography at Walkern Hall, Hertfordshire | Author Dean RobsonLast weekend I photographed this wedding for Jude and Damian which took place in St Mary’s Church in Welwyn (cms.welwyn.org.uk) and Walkern Hall (www.walkernhall.co.uk) near Stevenage.

I arrived at the bride’s family home to capture the getting ready shots and some family photographs in the garden before moving on to the church.

I met up with the groom and best man before capturing the brides arrival and the ceremony. You may recognise the bride’s brother from a previous blog as I photographed his wedding a couple of years ago too. I was working alongside videographers Mick and Julie from Ivory and Gold (www.ivoryandgold.com).

After the ceremony I captured lots of candid guest shots aswell as the confetti before we all headed to Walkern Hall for the reception.

Walkern Hall is a beautiful wedding location and has some fabulous grounds. The hall itself could be used as a backdrop and the reception was held in a marquee next to the drinks reception garden area. Kate, the lady who runs the venue was lovely and really accommodating both on the day of the wedding and on my pre-wedding visit.

After the romantic shoot it was time for the speeches, cake cutting and evening party.

I had a great time photographing Jude and Damian’s wedding and it was so lovely to see her family again as well as meeting Damian’s family.
