The pictures are amazing thank you so much. We will be getting an album from you soon! Jo (Bride)
I arrived at the Manor of Groves and it was a beautiful sunny day! I met up with the bride and girls getting ready.

I then caught up with the guys.

The girls were almost ready and then we had some family photos.

After the ceremony everyone headed outside for the drinks reception. For a March day the weather was pretty unbelievable!

I took the family group photographs as usual and then got lots of candid, natural shots of everyone enjoying themselves.

It was then time for the couples wedding portrait shoot.

It was then time for the meal, followed by the speeches, cutting of the cake and first dance.

With Spring weddings (as well as Winter and Autumn) I took the opportunity to take some night-lit shots.

I had a great time photographing Jo and Nathan’s wedding. If you like the photographs please feel free to leave a comment. If you are getting married and would like similar photographs of your day then please give me a call.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the massive part you played in our wedding day. You made us and our guests feel entirely at ease. We have looked at the photos and we are over the moon with them. They are fantastic. Thank you once again. Fran and Paul (Bride and Groom)
I arrived at the brides home for the bridal preparations and details.

We then headed to Manor of Groves Hotel near Sawbridgeworth where I met up with the groom and the boys. The Manor of Groves Hotel is situated in some stunning parkland with a fabulous golf course and is the perfect setting for weddings. It’s a venue which perfectly blends the old with the new, you will be enchanted by what’s in store for your special day.

After the ceremony we had some formal photographs as well as candid guest shots.

It was then time for the romantic shoot utilising some of the great locations Manor of Groves has to offer.

It was time for the wedding breakfast in the Colonnade Suite.

The guests were entertained by Andy Jamieson the Close Up Magician (www.andymagicman.co.uk). Andy has performed at events of all kinds and uses his experience to ensure the guests are entertained, amazed and enthralled by his unique brand of magic.

After the speeches we headed out for a sunset shot.

It’s now the time of year where night lit shots can work well on weddings.

I had a great time photographing Fran and Paul’s special day.

Wedding Photography Manor of Groves
May 4, 2012 on 12:07 pm | In - Wedding Photography Herts, - Weddings, Manor of Groves Wedding Photography | 1 Comment | Author Dean RobsonLast Saturday I photographed this wedding for Rebecca and Richard which took place at the Manor of Groves (www.manorofgroves.com) near Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.

It was raining as I arrived at the brides home for the pre-wedding photographs.

I then moved on to the church, Christ Church in Wanstead where I met up with the groom.

After the ceremony it was still raining, but it didn’t dampen the mood.

As it was light rain and the couple wanted to, we popped outside for some quick photographs outside the church. The guests soon followed us outside armed with their umbrellas and we all embraced the great British weather.

After a brief journey up the M11, we arrived at the Manor of Groves and the rain had turned to a light drizzle.

We ventured outside for some romantic photographs utilising the grounds. On a dry sunny day I would have had a shot of the couple sat on the steps and also taken a wander onto the grass with the dress spread out. As it was so damp we stayed on the paths and kept the dress dry.

The rain stopped for 5 minutes which was just enough time to get everyone out for the aerial group photograph before heading back in for family photographs in the library.

It was soon time for the wedding breakfast and the couple had a receiving line.

The evening guests arrived and it was time to cut the cake before the first dance took place.

I thought it would be nice to have a night lit shot and the couple were able to shelter from the rain.

I had a great time photographing Rebecca and Richards special day, and it was a special day for me too as it was my birthday although I kept it quiet.
