Newland Hall Wedding Photography 2016: On Monday I photographed Emma and Graham’s wedding at Newland Hall (http://www.newlandhall.co.uk/), near Chelmsford in Essex.
I arrived at Newland Hall on the morning of the wedding. It was raining when I arrived with showers forecast throughout the day.
It wasn’t long before the groom arrived in a special surprise from his bride, a classic “Bullet” Mustang, followed by his son in the classic GTO, just as the rain lifted.
The bride arrived in a vintage car.
It was time for the wedding ceremony in the Henry VIII Room, with its original hand carved Tudor beams and delightful views overlooking the gardens.
After the ceremony we took the short drive to Park Lake, one of four superb fishing lakes Newland Hall has to offer. It made a great location for a few photographs.
After a few family group photographs which finished just before the rain came again, it was time for afternoon tea followed by the speeches.
The rain cleared again after the meal and we ventured to the old barn for a few more photographs.
The couple then cut their wedding cake and had their first dance.
The stormy sky made for a dramatic evening photograph. I really enjoyed photographing Emma and Graham’s special day, especially the muscle cars which sounded great!
